River of Time Museum

McDowell
Mountain Regional Park
Nestled in the lower Verde River basin, just outside of Fountain
Hills, the 21099-acre park is a desert jewel in the northeast Valley.

Festival of Arts & Crafts
Each November, the Fountain Hills Chamber of
Commerce hosts this three day event, which features over 450 artists
and artisans from around the country lining the shaded Avenue of
the Fountains. This festival attracts an estimated 150,000 visitors.
This festival features the annual Hot Air Balloon Rally.
Fort
McDowell Yavapai Nation
Located within Maricopa County about twenty-three miles northeast
of Phoenix. The desert landscape is contrasted by the Verde River,
which flows north to south through the reservation. Thirty miles
east of Fort McDowell, the Four Peaks rise from the desert floor
to an elevation of more than 7,000 feet.
